Does anyone know where to find one online, the only spot that I saw is hookahtown and I have heard that the website is kind of shady. If you know where to find one online or in the city of austin it would be greatly appreciated.

you could always make one, get a beta fish put in a bowl then attach a smaller based hookah to the top and make a feed port for the fish.

The bottom vase of the Meduse hookahs doesn't do any filtering at all...it's just for show. That is why I doubt the smoking quality of the meduse hookahs.

I suppose you could put fish it is, but they would have to be really really tiny fish, like a neon or something.

They look like a cheap "bubble light" from the closeout section of china-mart.
Can you imagine trying to keep it clean without tearing the acrylic up? it looks like an el-cheapo casting, guaranteed to crack faster than a 5$ hookers legs at a frat party.

i didn't think i'd have to spell it out, but here we go: you don't think that the nicotine from the shisha going into the water would hurt the fish?
obviously, no one wants to hurt the fish, but putting nicotine (however small the amount) would hurt the fish.

Edit: by the way, although i'm sure you think your little PETA comment is so clever and harmless, i actually kind of take offense to it because PETA is against the domestication of any animals except for the basic cat/dog/bird/goldfish. i own tarantulas, scorpions, and snakes. very witty, though. nice one. i lol'ed Edited June 17, 2008 by Dom

You take a hookah ( a normal smokable hookah), you take a fish bowl that can and will accomodate the bottom of the base of said hookah. You build an opening to way to feed/clean the bowl for the fish. You then attach the hookah to the bowl. Why the hell would anyone put a real fish in the base?

okay, pal, i wasn't just talking to you. i wasn't talking, necessarily about the ORIGINAL post. i was talking to anyone who may not understand that you can't put real fish in a real hookah.

The Meduse Mirage Grande has a two chamber base. the top part of the base is used for the water needed to facilitate the hookah. the second chamber is just for show and houses fish in some of the gallery pics on the Meduse website. In no way are the two chambers connected.

I would never want to smoke fish water.....ever
